In Normandy, like in the northwest of France, valleys contain singular landscapes. Those are more and more considered as part of a collective heritage and those are in centre of planning questions. In order to measure their complexity and diversity, and to identify numerous pressures in which they are subjected, we propose a regional diagnosis of landscape of small valleys. This methodology is based on combination of two approaches : a morphologic one and a remote sensing one, introduced with the example of valley of the Seulles.
